No refunds given after March 29, 2025 by Jamieson Travel, however, tour is transferable (ie. if you or your partner must cancel, you can replace the person originally booked with another person). This does not mean future credit towards another trip.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Thursday, May 29, 2025
Day 1. Travel Day – Quebec City
We depart early this morning with pick ups along the 417 highway stopping for an We will arrive into the heart of Old Quebec City this afternoon and check into the famous and luxurious Hotel Palace Royal, located 100 yards from the Old Walled City. The rest of the day is free to explore the finery, cafes, history and exquisite shopping of Old Quebec, all within walking distance of our hotel. Enjoy a fabulous dinner on your own this evening as there are so many great restaurants to choose from a short distance from our hotel or the famous BEFFROI Restaurant located in our hotel.

Day 2 -Friday, May 30, 2025
Day 2 – Quebec City –Local Touring This morning we have a local step on tour guide who will show us all the highlights of Quebec City and surrounding area. Highlights include: viewing the Plains of Abraham, Citadelle and the narrowest street in North America. You will explore some of North America’s mysteries within the walled city. Our tour will end below the Chateau Frontenac where there are many great places for lunch and great shopping. Our bus will shuttle back to our hotel at 2pm. The rest of the day is free to explore the finery, cafes, history and exquisite shopping of Old Quebec, all within walking distance of our hotel Dinner is on your own this evening.

Day 3 - Saturday, May 31, 2025
Day 3 – Cruise tour to Goose-Ile
Today we visit the Irish National Historic Site of Groose-Ile. This island was used between 1832 - 1937 as a quarantine and Immigration centre. Walk in the footsteps of the Irish immigrants who stayed at this former quarantine station in the company of a guide. Visit evocative places and magnificent landscapes, including the Celtic cross and the Irish cemetery. A train ride will take you to the ancient village of Saint-Luc-de-Grosse-Île and to the hospital area, where you will discover the secrets of the lazaret. Visiting different stations, you will meet characters who will make you relive the fabulous history of this island, which welcomed hundreds of thousands of immigrants between 1832 and 1937.
A visit to Grosse Île means diving back into a rich and moving past. We will return to our hotel aprox. 4pm and the rest of your evening is free.

Day 4 - Sunday June 1, 2025
Day 4 –Return Home.
After breakfast, we step aboard the coach and head west. We will stop for lunch in the Montreal area for an impressive buffet at Saveurs des Continents before heading back to the Ottawa Valley. Drop offs occur in reverse order of pick up.
