Day 2 - Wednesday, September 24, 2025 - Arrive in Ireland
A Cead Mile Failte to the Emerald Isle is extended on arrival at Dublin Airport by your friendly driver and guide. We will take the scenic route to the Castleknock Hotel, an award winning 4-star hotel is located
right on the doorstep of Dublin City, beside Phoenix Park. After a leisurely afternoon, we will meet for a welcome drink and dinner in the hotel.

Day 3 - Thursday, September 25, 2025 - Saint Patrick Centre
This morning, we will travel north to the Viking settlement town of Carlingford. After some free time in the town centre, journey into Northern Ireland and drive through the majestic Mountains of Mourne into Saint Patrick’s Country to visit the grave of Ireland’s Patron Saint and the Saint Patrick Centre which tells his story. Then, it’s onwards to Belfast where we will check in to our city centre hotel and enjoy a group dinner.

Day 4- Friday, September 26, 2025 - Titanic
First on the agenda is a visit to Belfast City Hall to learn the story of Belfast. After, we take a short panoramic tour of the city that will include the political murals along the Falls and Shankhill roads. This afternoon we visit the Harland and Wilf Shipyard to undertake a self-guided tour of the Titanic Belfast. Tonight, you may wish to venture into the Cathedral Quarter of town, an area that is well known for its selection of lively pubs and fabulous restaurants.

Day 5 - Saturday, September 27, 2025 - Giant's Causeway
Travelling north along the scenic Causeway Coastal Route we stop at Gleariff National Park to stretch our legs, and if you wish, grab a freshly baked scone with a cuppa! Our journey continues to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Giant's Causeway where you can 'stand on the shoulders of the giants Meandering through the 9 Glens of Antrim'. We then arrive in the last remaining walled city in Ireland, Derry where we are led on a fascinating walking tour of the 'Walls of Derry".

Day 6 - Sunday, September 28, 2025 - Westport
First, we visit the home of Donegal Tweed, Triona Design. Here you will enjoy an Irish coffee while learning the history of Donegal Tweed including a weaving demonstration on a 200-year-old loom. Then it's on to Bellek Pottery where we enjoy a guided tour of th famous porcelain factory. After a group dinner at the hotel, we suggest you visit one of the town's local pubs, where you are sure to catch a traditional music session.

Day 7- Monday, September 29, 2025 - Cliffs of Moher
After breakfast, we travel south to Galway, where you will have some free time to walk around Eyre Square and the town centre. Next stop is a visit to see the mighty Cliffs of Moher in all their glory. A true geological treasure of Ireland.. Tonight, we dine like lords and ladies at the medieval banquet in an Irish Castle.

Day 8- Tuesday, September 30, 2025 - Adare
Today we head south into the Kingdom of Kerry passing through picturesque villages along the way. We will stop in Ireland's prettiest village, Adare for the chance to take photos of the charming, thatched roof cottages that line the Main Street. Tonight, we dine at our hotel.

Day 9 - Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025
An early start this morning, as we embark on a journey around the famous Ring of Kerry passing through quaint towns and villages, including Moll’s Gap, a mountain pass that offers breathtaking views of the McGillicuddy’s Reeks Mountains. During our journey, we will make a stop at the Red Fox Pub for a warming Irish coffee. Tonight, we are treated to a traditional farmhouse dinner while being entertained by local musicians at Quill’s Farmhouse.

Day 10 - Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 - Blarney
This morning, we travel east to the village of Blarney and Blarney Woollen Mills where you may wish to shop for locally made woollens and handcrafts. After, we enjoy a guided tour of Kilkenny Castle, a Norman bastion built over 800 years ago. This evening, we dine as a group at our hotel.

Day 11 - Friday, Oct. 3, 2025 - Kilkenny
We travel north to the town of New Ross and board the Famine Ship Dunbrody to learn what life was like for a group of famine emigrants. Onward to Ireland’s oldest city, Waterford, which was founded over 1100 years ago by the Vikings. There will be free time to explore Waterford on your own, or for real history lesson, you may wish book a walking tour with Waterford Jack – a local guide who will lead you on an entertaining journey through time.

Day 12 - Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 - Dublin
After breakfast we depart for Kildare, a county that is dedicated to its love of all things equestrian. With that in mind, we visit the Irish National Stud home to many of Ireland’s former and current champions. While you are here, you can take a stroll through the Japanese Gardens, a mix of western and eastern cultures and one of the most beautiful gardens of its kind in Europe. We continue to Dublin with the remainder of the day and evening at leisure. There is no shortage of fabulous dining options in Dublin, where you can not only dine on local favourites, but also choose from a great selection of restaurants that feature cuisines from around the world.

Day 13 - Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025 - Dublin
Today is yours to discover Dublin using your Hop On/Hop Off sightseeing ticket. RIT recommended visits include EPIC, where the emigration story is brought to life, the library at Trinity College to view The Book of Kells, Kilmainham Gaol, Phoenix Park, and Glasnevin Cemetery. This evening, we are treated to dinner and 'hooley' (live music and dancing party) at a popular Dublin venue.

Day 14 - Monday, Oct. 6, 2025 - Flight home
After a final hearty breakfast, a group transfer will take you to the Dublin Airport for our return flight home. Drop offs back to the Ottawa Valley will be made in reverse order of pick ups on Day 1.
