We take a ferry to Mackinac Island to visit the Grand Hotel and tour this unique island with an amazing rich history. (And there's no cars on this island)!

Day 1. Travel Day – Sault Ste. Marie, ON
We depart early this morning with pick ups along the 417 highway. Lunch in The Big Nickel then arriving into Sault Ste. Marie for two nights at the Quality Hotel & Suites located on Bay St. Perhaps enjoy a stroll along the Saint Mary's Boardwalk this evening overlooking the water towards the USA or visit the casino a short stroll from our hotel.
Today,
Day 2 – Agawa Canyon by Train. This morning we depart on the Agawa Train for a full day of train travel into the Agawa Canyon and Provincial Park. Have your camera ready for multiple scenic landscapes throughout the canyon including the Agawa River, waterfalls, fall foliage and more. A packed lunch is included for your on the train. We have some free time in the Park to explore off the train before heading back. The total day trip is aprox 8 hours return. This evening you are fee to explore along the waterfront of our hotel.

Day 3 – Mackinaw City, MI, USA
This morning we have some free time to tour Sault Ste. Marie to visit the Canadian Bush Plane & Northern Heritage Centre. before we cross the International Bridge to the state of Michigan. We continue on to the quaint town of Mackinaw City where we check into the Best Western Plus Dockside for the next two nights. We enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant, Hooked this evening. (Choices will be given on day 1).
Today, breakfast & dinner will be included.
Day 4 – Mackinac Island. Today is a very unique day! We board the ferry for Mackinac Island for a full day of touring. Step back in time with this charming town to explore. We are met at the dock by a local tour guide who will give us tour of the surrounding area by horse and buggy. (There are no cars allowed on the island). Part of our tour will be include a visit to the Grand Hotel for a beautiful lunch. Enjoy the grandeur of this iconic hotel from a bygone era. This afternoon, enjoy some free time in the town for some shopping and browsing. Upon our return by ferry to Mackinaw city we enjoy dinner at The Historic Depot & Caboose Restaurant.

Day 5 – Homeward Bound
This morning we cross back into Canada and make our way back home. Food and rest stops will be made along the return route home. Drop offs occur in reverse order. Our approximate return to the Valley will be 8pm.
