  • Deposit is refundable, minus $40pp until June 25, 2026
  • Balance is due by June 25, 2026.
  • No refunds by Jamieson Travel after June 25, 2026. Please make sure to have cancellation protection. 
  • *Balance preferred payment via  check or money order.  Balances paid by credit card will have a 3% merchant fee added.*
  • Insurance: Should you require Medical, Cancellation or both insurance coverage we strongly suggest booking directly with Blue Cross: Call 1-866-732-2583 for a quote/to book. (Medical questionnaire will be required for medical coverage).

Itinerary

Day 1 - September 21, 2026

Travel Day.  Your tour begins with pick up's along Highway 417 Corridor to the Ottawa Airport.  Pick up locations are: Beachburg, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior and Stittsville. The flight will be overnight and we will land in Scotland the next day.

Day 2 - September 22, 2026
Welcome to Scotland! Meet your tour guide at your designated pickup point before undertaking a panoramic tour of Glasgow.  You will see Glasgow's highlights including red sandstone Victorian buildings, delightful parks, and the River Clyde, once important for shipbuilding.  We will visit Glasgow Cathedral, one of Scotland's most magnificent medieval buildings, and the only cathedral on the Scottish mainland to survive the Protestant Reformation almost intact. There will also be time to visit the extensive and varied art collections in Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.  Afterwards we check into our hotel where we spend our first two nights.

Day 3 - September 23, 2026  - Burns Country

Depart for Robbie Burns Country, where the first stop of the day is Burns National Heritage Park. The museum is the focal point of this beautifully landscaped park where visitors can cross the Brig o’Doon and visit the poet’s birthplace. Later, continue to Culzean Castle in Ayrshire. Culzean is surrounded by surging seas, lush forests, and secret gardens.

Overnight — Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow (4*)


Day 4 - September 24, 2026 - Loch Ness & Inverness
Depart Glasgow for Inverness travelling along Scotland’s West Coast and Loch Ness. Highlights of the day include Loch Lomond, dramatic Glencoe, a visit to Urquhart Castle and a cruise on Loch Ness in search of Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.

Day 5 - September 25, 2026 - Dornoch

We journey along a scenic stretch of the North Coast 500, beginning with a visit to the fairytale-like Dunrobin Castle, perched above the sea with its grand architecture and beautiful gardens. From there, we stop in the charming town of Dornoch, known for its historic cathedral and coastal charm. The day concludes with a tour and tasting at a Highland distillery, where we explore the art of whisky-making and sample a few drams of Scotland’s finest.

Day 6 - September 26, 2026 - Culloden

Today we head to Perthshire via Culloden Moor, site of the 1746 Battle of Culloden. Our next stop is at Kincraig for an impressive display from the Working Sheepdogs. Tonight, we have a Whisky Experience with tasting and chocolate pairing.

Day 7 - September 27, 2026 - St. Andrews & Edinburgh

Depart Perthshire for Edinburgh via the Kingdom of Fife. You will stop at St. Andrews, home of Scotland’s oldest university and capital of golf. Leaving St. Andrews, we head to Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a panoramic city tour of Edinburgh, exploring both the historic charm of the Old Town and the elegant architecture of the New Town before arriving at our hotel. Ideally situated in the heart of the city, our hotel offers the perfect base for discovering Edinburgh’s rich history, breathtaking views, vibrant culture, and an abundance of restaurants, pubs, and cafés.

Day 8 - September 28, 2026 - Edinburgh

After an early breakfast in the hotel, you will enjoy an exclusive, pre-opening tour of Edinburgh Castle. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the city further. Tonight, you will attend the Spirit of Scotland Show, an evening of traditional entertainment and dinner at The Royal College of Surgeons.

Day 9 - September 29, 2026 - Scotland to Ireland

Today we bid farewell to Scotland and fly to Dublin for the Ireland portion of your journey. Today is a relaxed day as we all gather at our charming hotel in Malahide, located along the picturesque Irish Sea in north County Dublin. The afternoon allows time to settle in, take a stroll along the shoreline, or simply admire the seaside views. As the evening approaches, enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the company of your fellow travellers and get to know each other during an introductory meeting. It’s a perfect opportunity to set the tone for the journey ahead and share in the excitement. A delightful early dinner follows, featuring local flavours that will prepare you for the days to come. Rest and recharge at the Grand Hotel, ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 10 - September 30, 2026 -Boyne Valley & Cooley Peninsula

Begin the day with a scenic drive north through the awe-inspiring Mountains of Mourne, an iconic landscape of rugged peaks and lush valleys. Today’s journey delves deep into the history of Saint Patrick, Ireland's patron saint, as we visit his final resting place and the informative Saint Patrick Centre. A ferry ride offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and coastline, adding a touch of serenity to the day. Next, we travel to Belfast for a fascinating panoramic tour, exploring the city’s complex history. Highlights include the famous political murals along Shankill Road and Falls Road, providing a vivid insight into the city’s history and its ongoing transformation. Enjoy dinner and unwind in Belfast’s iconic Europa Hotel.

Day 11 - October 1, 2026 - Belfast & Titanic Quarter

This morning begins with a guided tour of Belfast City Hall, a grandiose building that encapsulates the city’s rich history and architectural elegance. The afternoon immerses you in Belfast’s maritime heritage at the Titanic Experience, where you’ll explore the shipyard where the legendary vessel was constructed and learn about the Titanic’s story through interactive exhibits. The evening is yours to experience Belfast at your own pace. Wander its lively streets, enjoy a pint at a local pub, or delve deeper into the city’s vibrant culture.

Day 12 - October 2, 2026 - Giant's Causeway & Derry

Our day begins with a journey along the stunning Antrim Coast, renowned for its dramatic cliffs and coastal beauty. A visit to the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reveals the natural wonder of thousands of hexagonal basalt columns steeped in myth and legend. Next, we make our way to Derry, where a local guide will lead a captivating walking tour through this historic walled city. Learn about the city’s fascinating history, from its medieval roots to its pivotal role in Ireland’s modern narrative.

Day 13 - October 3, 2026 - Ben Bulhen & Clew Bay

This morning, we dive into the craftsmanship of Donegal tweed at Triona’s Donegal, gaining insight into this cherished Irish tradition. From here, we visit the Belleek Pottery Factory, famed for its exquisite porcelain creations. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore Sligo, a town renowned for its literary and coastal charm. As the day winds down, we head to the welcoming town of Westport, where scenic Clew Bay and warm hospitality await.

Day 14 - October 4, 2026 - Connemara

Connemara’s untamed beauty sets the tone for today as we journey through its rugged landscapes of bogs, lakes, and mountains. A visit to the iconic Kylemore Abbey, nestled against a lake, offers a moment of tranquility and exploration. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to stroll through Westport, soaking in its friendly atmosphere, vibrant shops, and lively streets.

Day 15 - October 5, 2026. - Galway & Cliffs of Moher

Our day begins with a trip to Galway City, known for its colourful streets and bohemian vibe. After some free time to explore the city’s lively markets and shops, we head south along Galway Bay. A drive through the unique Burren region—a limestone landscape of ancient beauty—leads us to the mighty Cliffs of Moher. Standing at the edge of these towering cliffs, take in unparalleled views of the Atlantic Ocean. Tonight, an optional medieval banquet at Knappogue Castle adds a touch of enchantment to the day.

Day 16 - October 6, 2026. 

Sadly, our tour comes to an end. We fly home, back to Ottawa from the Dublin airport.
