We love our local Ottawa Valley clients, so all of our Jamieson Travel tours offer free pick up locations along Highway 417.

Arnprior - Antrim Truck Stop. 580 White Lake Rd.

Stittsville/Carp - Carp Rd Park'n Ride, Stittsville - Westbrook Rd/Carp Rd intersection.

Pick up times:

We schedule our pick up times to accommodate our stops, meals and driving to our final destination that day. You will receive your full tour package two weeks prior to your departure date with your pick up time. 

For your peace of mind, Jamieson Travel strongly recommends purchasing Cancellation Insurance for your tour. OHIP will cover your travels within Canada, however if you are travelling internationally, we recommend also purchasing Medical Insurance. 

We want it to be a stress free journey from the moment you book your tour with us. 

Each tour has its own cancellation policy. Typically the tours are refundable up until two months prior to the departure, minus $40pp merchant fee. After the two month mark all tours are non-refundable, so please protect your investment with travel insurance. 

When we process your deposit, you will receive an invoice with all payment due dates. We are always here to answer your questions about final payments, these can be paid via cheque, credit card or e-transfer. Save a little bit of spending money for your tour by paying the balance by cheque. 

Yes, all Jamieson Travel Tours are inclusive of taxes, fees and surcharges. 

We aim to make our tours accessible for everyone. Most of the time, the amount of walking is up to you and how much walking you are comfortable with. All of our hotel and point of interest drop offs are at the closest entrance for our clients.

We value that everyone has a pleasant experience so we implement a seat rotation on our motor coaches to enable guests to experience the tour from all perspectives. 

Wondering if there is room for all of your creature comforts on the tour? Hairdryer, CPAP and kitchen sink?

For most of our tours, one standard size suitcase is available per person with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. You will be given a Jamieson Travel luggage tag to secure to your suitcase for the duration of the tour.  

Please note that due to the size in the motor coaches, we do not accept cabin size carry on/suitcases as they do not fit in the overhead compartments. Instead, we suggest a soft sided bag or backpack. 

A tip is great way to show your appreciation for the care shown by the bus driver on your tour. We recommend tipping your bus driver $5-7 dollars per day, per person. You will find a bus driver gratuity envelope in the back of your seat on the bus when you board on the first day.
