Congratulations! You've made a great decision and we look forward to helping you plan a wonderful travel experience! To register for one of our tours, it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Having cancellation and medical insurance is highly recommended. See individual tours for insurance rates as some tours offer "All-inclusive: cancellation waiver/medical" flat rates, cancellation Waivers only and/or medical only options. If purchasing insurance, date of birth is required for each person. We strongly suggest you have insurance coverage, especially medical coverage for tours outside of Canada. We also offer a Canada Plan that provides coverage for Canadians who have provincial insurance (ie. OHIP). The Canada Plan offers Out of Province Medical coverage and trip cancellation/interruption.
Note: Jamieson Travel acts solely as a facilitator for arranging travel insurance for clients and accepts no responsibility for settlement of possible claims.
Cut-Off Dates
Tour "cut-off" dates are provided for each Jamieson Travel tour. Registrations for tours are required in advance of these cut-off dates to ensure that the tour will reach its minimum operating requirements. Bookings may still be made after a tour's cut-off date, however, they will be subject to availability and possible price adjustments.
Note: Many of our international tours sell out prior to their cut-off/book before dates. We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment!
Tour Cancellation
Jamieson Travel reserves the right to cancel any tour should it not meet minimum operating requirements.

Identification
As of June 1, 2009, Canadian citizens require a valid passport for entry into the United States. Tours abroad also require a valid passport. We highly recommend your passport not expire within six months of your return date (some countries require 6 months remaining validity on passports). Please check your passport before traveling. Passports, Visas, Permanent Resident Cards and sufficient proof of identification are the responsibility of the passenger.
Baggage Allowances
Maximum baggage allowance is one large suitcase per person of 50lbs plus a carry-on. Each person is responsible for their own carry-on.
Note: Airlines now charge for checked baggage on many of their routings (both domestic and international). This fee is the responsibility of the traveller and is not included in the trip cost. It is paid directly to the airline at the airport upon check-in.
Name Changes to Air Tickets
Should you submit an incorrect name spelling for a tour that requires plane tickets, any fees incurred to make the name correction will be at your expense.
We do our best to include all destinations, attractions and performances listed in each itinerary. However, due to unforseen circumstances, changes to the itinerary may be necessary to ensure the safety and quality of the tour. A pre-trip departure package will be issued to registered passengers approximately 2-3 weeks prior to tour departure. This package will include any updates to the itinerary, the names and phone numbers of all hotels and the tour "Pick-Up" schedule.
Jamieson Travel and Tours reserves the right to decline any person as a member of a tour at any time before or during a tour should such person be considered detrimental to the enjoyment of other tour passengers. A refund for unused services will not be issued.
Seating on Coaches
Seat rotation will be directed by the tour escort during a tour. This applies to all passengers on a tour.
Tipping
It is customary to tip your motor coach driver at the end of a bus tour. On our international tours, it is customary to tip the local guide and the bus driver.
Physically challenged passengers are welcome to travel on our tours! However, you must have a capable travelling companion to assist you at all times and the office must be notified of any challenges and/or limitations at the time of reservation.
